In addition, many members have had success with other medications such as Metformin and a combination Naltrexone and Bupropion. If your treatment plan isn’t working for you, talk to your NumeRx Care Team about adjustments or alternative plans.

Does NumeRx prescribe Wegovy / Semaglutide?

Yes. NumRx clinicians prescribe Wegovy, semaglutide, or other weight management medications, including GLP-1s. NumeRx will also ship and deliver these prescriptions to your chosen address.

What side effects should I expect?

NumeRx Clinicians can prescribe a variety of different weight management medications tailored to your unique biology, behaviors, and preferences. Your Clinician will work with you to explain the specific side effects you could encounter with your specific medications. If you experience side effects, you can easily report them to your Care Team in the portal.

What if my Clinician determines a prescription is not right for me?

We’ll determine if you’re a good fit during the intake quiz and your initial Clinician consultation. If after the initial consultation, the provider determines you are not a fit for any plan, you will be refunded your payment except for the $99 one-time provider fee.

Is medication included in the membership fee?

Yes, the prescribed medication under your plan is included in your membership fee.

What if I want to use a local chain pharmacy?

We can send your prescription to any pharmacy of your choice. Please note that you may be required to pay out-of-pocket at the pharmacy to receive your medication. NumeRx is unable to assist with these additional costs in the event you incur them.

Provider Questions

Who are the clinicians at NumeRx?

All of our providers are US-licensed and board-certified with years of clinical experience. NumeRx also works with specialists and leaders in the industry to construct a program that fits each person’s unique biology, behaviors, and preferences.

How do I see a provider?

After completing your medical intake forms our team will schedule your telehealth appointment with your provider. Your provider will complete a 2-way audiovisual (telehealth) appointment with you on a HIPAA-compliant telehealth system.

Essentially you will have a video call with the provider.

Do I get to pick my provider?

Our team assigns appointment requests based on state licensing and provider availability. You will be given your provider’s profile before your appointment. If you do not want to speak to your assigned provider, for any reason, our team will work to schedule your appointment with a different provider for you.

What if I want to see a different provider?

Please contact us at hello@getnumerx.com and we will help schedule your appointment with a different provider.

Is it legal to see a provider through the internet?

Yes, depending on the specific state in question. NumeRx only operates in states where telehealth is allowed for this specific use case.

Do I actually have to talk to the provider?

Though some telehealth companies will send medication after filling out an online survey, the providers at NumeRx believe that is not an adequate way to make a diagnosis, especially for a new client.

All clients must speak to a provider through two-way audiovisual communication.

Can I get the credentials of the medical provider I’m working with?

Of course. Email us at hello@getnumerx.com, and we'll be happy to share more information about their background.
